Mission Statement:
We are a team charged with the responsibility of developing and maintaining a highway system for Manitowoc County. We strive to address the safety needs and environmental concerns of the public. The Manitowoc County Highway Department is also responsible for maintaining all of the State Trunk Highway Systems within Manitowoc County. This includes I-43. We are also responsible for all of the maintenance and construction on our County Trunk System. Finally, we perform varying degrees of maintenance and construction in all other municipalities in the County.
